Why is there a prerequisite for Group Reformer class?

In Group Reformer classes, there are multiple participants and the class moves at a quick pace. In order to keep this pace while while maintaining effectiveness and safety for all participants, it is essential that the Pilates fundamentals are understood and that there is an understanding of how the Pilates equipment functions. Taking 5 Private or Duet lessons before joining a Group Reformer class will ensure your safety and allow you to make the most progress possible. Please contact the studio if you have any questions.

What to Wear to Zumba Class

Wear whatever clothing in which you are comfortable and can move freely in. IMPORTANT ZUMBA SHOE FAQ's !!! PLEASE READ!!!

- Shoes that lace up are required for all Zumba Classes
- Shoes that have as little traction/tred on the sole will allow for the best class experience.
- Shoes that have a pivot point or circle under the ball of the foot work the best.
- Running shoes or walking shoes are not ideal as they are designed for only forward motion.
- Shape-Up/Rocker-Bottom or backless shoes are not allowed.
- The instructor has the right to ask you to not participate if it is determined that your footwear is not safe.

All items for classes are provided for for you as well as towels. We suggest that you bring water to your class. Below are some specific details on some of our classes that will help to make your experience as enjoyable as possible.

What to Wear to Belly Dancing Class

Wear whatever clothing in which you are comfortable and can move freely in. Coin belts are provided for you to wear during your first class and are available for purchase for use with subsequent classes. Shoes are not worn for class.
